Monday October 5 – Tuesday October 6, 2015 in Washington DC

Be part of NARR’s annual conference, entirely dedicated to best practices in the operation of recovery residences. The event will feature two days of presentations, panels and participant discussion. This year’s conference will feature a reception on Monday evening for all conference attendees, and for our friends in the recovery movement.

Our keynote speaker will be Michael Botticelli, Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. Director Botticelli has been a great supporter of the recovery movement and believes in the work you do.

Also on the program will be Steven G. Polin, one of the nation’s foremost housing rights attorneys. Steve will address the latest threats to the civil rights of recovering individuals to live in the housing of their choice, and what can be done to fight back.

Whether you’re a long-established recovery residence services provider, are just starting out, or maybe thinking of entering the field, this conference will speak to your needs. Presenters and panelists are industry leaders. Most have extensive backgrounds in founding, operating and expanding recovery residences. You’ll also hear from specialists in fair housing rights, risk management, and building strong referral relationships.

Many attendees will also be participating in the UNITE to Face Addiction rally on the National Mall the day before the conference. We truncated the conference to two days in order to accommodate those wishing to be part of both events. We highly encourage you to take part in both!

Check this page for updates during the early summer, as we will be adding information about the program.

We hope to see you in DC in October!
