South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences

The South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences (SCARR) is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 to serve the recovery community by providing a single point of access for information regarding recovery residences and community resources in South Carolina. Tasked with upholding national standards set by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR), the South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences is responsible for developing and maintaining clear and consistent standards for recovery residences. These non-biased standards are what drive certifications throughout the state.

With a SCARR certification, those looking to enter a recovery home have full assurance that they will be living in a space that is clean, responsible and sober. Transitioning from treatment to recovery housing can be challenging and we see it as our duty to make these environments safe and supportive spaces for continued recovery.
